This edit is my own personal experience of 'The Wizard of Oz.'(1939) The film starts  in black and white, then the colour gradually gets more saturated. I wanted to create the feeling of finding paradise, so contrasted the black and white and colour to create that same feeling of finding some magical make believe dream land where you have to pinch yourself everyday to see if you are living or asleep.
