Description: Stonefree vocalist Miro Valera sits down with OG and cheerfully shares some amusing and serious notes about their carrier single Anghel (sa lupa) from their sophomore album Delorean released back in 2006.

Find out the several pop culture references and personal 'hugot' that inspired the song, Miro's favorite line, some details about the music video, what the song means to him then and now during the pandemic, and more. Above all…Nah. Just enjoy the memory lane 90s kids. You'll love it.

Members: Regie Mangubat (bass); Relly Mangubat (drums); Benson Tanoja (guitar); Miro Valera (vocals).

Stonefree was a band formed in 1995 by the Mangubat brothers. To complete the band they were joined by Benson and Miro. And like most bands formed during their college days, the guys played regular gigs on local bars performing songs from their influences like Jars of Clay, Matchbox 20 and Incubus to name a few.

Eventually, they did get their break in 2002.

And then two albums later the band, unfortunately, did not release new music and eventually disbanded in 2010.

MUSIC COURTESY BY:

\
