Description: BEAT is a prototype for a dashboard to be used in the newsroom. It's a map that shows where crimes are happening in Western Australia in real time — and overlays it with newsroom resources. It allows editors and reporters to spot patterns, respond to breaking news and deploy news resources smarter and faster.
