Description: Becoming a mother was something I’d always looked forward to, but study, travel and a career put a bit of hold on that. nnHowever in 1998 I became a mother for the first time.I had no formal qualifications to prepare me for the role, so I read as many books on how to create and care for another human being. nnMy studies had prepared me for careers in nursing, events and media, but nothing prepared me for the responsibility of creating a new human life.nnAs any mother to be, I had many hopes
