In January 2013 I presented 'Steaming ties' at Artspace in Auckland. The exhibition consisted of three videos; each shot in a single take, they explored the limits on film, the awkward moral balance in nature, the role of vision in semio-capitalism, and the slapstick nature of crime. Artspace commissioned a new work for the main gallery, which consisted of a precarious 9 metre mobile that inhabited the whole space.
