Description: In the small village of Barahipur, Bangladesh. I think of Pithas in Barahipur as my fourth pancake movie. I've made several shorts for the International Pancake Film Festival. Usually, the movies that I've made for them (and the movies that others submit) are comedies, but this is my first documentary entry. Earlier this year, I visited Bangladesh. They somehow manage to squeeze half the population of the entire US into a country the size of New York state. The capital, Dhaka, is a dizzying port
