Description: On Tuesday, an F-16 fighter jet crashed west of Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, with the pilot successfully ejecting from the aircraft, according to authorities. Base officials stated that the Fighting Falcon went down near White Sands National Park shortly before noon. The pilot, the sole occupant of the aircraft, was transported to a hospital for medical treatment via ambulance, confirmed base spokesperson Denise Ottaviano.
