Description: This video was made to celebrate and showcase the first Animation Summer School held at the Limerick School of Art and Design, LIT, Ireland in 2013. nnDuring the two week period the learners discovered about the 12 Principles of Animation and the early beginnings of animation including Flip Books, Zoetropes and Phenakistascopes. Learners were involved in workshops in Life Drawing, Stopmotion Animation, Basic Computer Animation using Flash, Scriptwriting, Storyboarding and Character Design. nnThe
