Description: Cosmic Journey is an installation to visualize and interact with earth’s atmospheric behaviour in 3-dimensional space. Inspired by the 2-dimensional weather forecast on news shows and laser shows, I decided to experiment with the visualization of our atmosphere with lasers. The intention is for audiences to appreciate the beauty of the atmosphere and perhaps aid with understanding or teaching earth's delicate atmosphere. The data was retrieved from the 2009 EUMESTAT(UK) geostationary satellite
