Description: The patch is a symbol of repair for a blind eye.The patients with the patches were blind when we arrived, either in only one eye, or both.We try to leave no one needing care, as doctors may never again show up in some of our remote destinations.nnWhile all our patients are special, children touch us the most.The people of Taveuni sing because they are happy.Many just received the gift of sight and nothing is more rewarding for us than taking the bandage off for that first time!Donate
