Description: After choreographing live performance for Divas Dance Theatre and making a series of award winning screendance films, Billy Cowie has recently been making ground-breaking stereoscopic dance installations that give viewers the impression that they are sharing the space with live dancers. Developing new choreographic styles that inhabit and exploit the technical limitations imposed by the medium, Cowie's works - projected videos watched via 3D glasses - give the spectator an up-close and intimate
