Description: Pooja, a 2015 National Young Woman of Distinction and second-degree black belt from Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles, traveled to the mountains of Himachal Pradesh in India to teach self-defense to village girls ages 14–17. She also led female empowerment sessions to help the young girls build confidence and, emotional strength.
