Description: Aernout is an IB graduate from UWC Atlantic College, Wales (United Kingdom). After graduating in 1973, he became a renowned war correspondent and journalist. He reported from war zones across the Middle East and the Balkans on the fall of Yugoslavia, the Palestinian intifada, and the Soviet invasion in Afghanistan, among others. Of British and Dutch heritage, Aernout currently lives in the Netherlands and is a lecturer in War Studies at Leiden University (Netherlands). nnWe are celebrating the I
