Description: Nikki Minaj asked Anthony Mandler to bring his eye to the Starships video. His vision was to create a heightened color palate that twisted the hues of his photography in Hawaii. KILT brought on a team of compositors to handle over 290 shots of color composited clips in 2 weeks. It was a massive undertaking. The space ship was designed and integrated to have a graphic like feel. We also added streams of lava and volcano explosions to the night time scenes.
