Description: Russ Meyer’s 1959 film The Immoral Mr. Teasfeatured little dialogue, a simple plotline, and lots of large breasts. The film proved not that sex sells (that was already known) but that there was a way around the morality guidelines of the Motion Picture Production Code, or the Hays Code. The film was screened in regular theaters and made a profit of more than $1.5 million. The floodgates for the multi-billion dollar American porn industry had been opened.
