Call of Heroes, previously known as The Deadly Reclaim, is a 2016 Hong Kong-Chinese action film co-written, co-produced and directed by Benny Chan Muk-sing (陈木胜), with action direction by Sammo Hung Kam-bo (洪金寶), and starring Sean Lau Ching-wan (劉青雲), Louis Koo Tin-lok (古天樂), Eddie Peng Yu-Yan(彭于晏), Yuan Quan (袁泉), Jiang Shu Ying (江疏影), with a special appearance by Jacky Wu Jing (吴京).<br/><br/>During the warlords era in China, a village located in rural area called Pucheng fell into dangerous situation when its government allocated all its military force to the front line. The psychopathic son of Cho Ying, an army general, Cho Siu Lun from the enemy troops arrived at the village and killed a number of innocents. The guardians of Pucheng were desperate to fight against Siu Lun for justice and to protect their homeland.
