Description: Karuna Bhawan, the house of compassion, was founded for girls and women suffering from HIV/Aids who don´t get any support by their families. nIn Nepal it still happens that parents or husbands sell their daughters or wives to India. Not always with bad intension. Often abject poverty is the reason. They send them to India believing that they are going to work as maids. But some of them end up in brothels. When they are sent back to Nepal, disgrace is too big in order to return to their families
