Description: Leave It on the Floor is an independent feature film musical with eleven original songs set in the contemporary ball culture of Los Angeles. Many people remember the Jennie Livingston documentary, “Paris Is Burning” that first shone a light on this vital underground sub-culture some 15 years ago. The ball-scene was part of the inspiration for Madonna’s song “Vogue”. At that time, I was directing in the theater in New York and remember thinking that this extraordinary environment would
