Description:
In the North Pacific garbage vortex near Hawaii , Sophia Assalas and her team of divers are on the trail of Lilith, a female mako shark . Sophia's husband Chris is diving with Sam, Juan and Tom, while Sophia and Jade stay on the boat and watch everything from their screen. While waiting for Lilith, who is equipped with a beacon, they examine a sperm whale corpse caught in waste. Several sharks then come prowling, before being joined by Lilith. The animal has grown abnormally since the last meeting with Sophia's team. Lilith then attacks the three divers. Sophia then jumps from the boat to try to save them. But she is in turn attacked and injured in the ears. She will not be able to save her team.
