Description: This is part of a major project for the National Museum US Army. It shows a descriptive timeline of the major events that occurred on the European theater during World War II. Projected on one side of a 6-ft tall sphere from within, the result is impressive. Creating the animation accounting for the distortion was a major feat which we accomplished using a special plug-in for developing accurate spherical projections.
