Description: Mary and Marie Ikeda were students of Ruth Yamada, a Sumi-e Master and Sensei at the JCCC during the 1960s when the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre first opened its door at 123 Wynford Drive in Toronto. Mary and Marie speak about their experience as well as the history of Sumi-e in Canada.
