The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® race is the leading long-distance trail event both in Europe and worldwide. The athletes must run through three countries, 15 mountain villages, a total of 169 kilometres, up and down 9 700 metres of vertical gain, all in less than 46 hours. The 2011 race, which less than half the 2 500 participants finished, turned out to be the hardest since 2003, the year the race was first run. It was in this extraordinary context that Team Vibram showed its true colours. Fi
