At the same time, a few miles north on Randall’s Island, the fastest man on earth, Usain Bolt, competed in the 200 meter at the Diamond League track meet. Although Clinton and Bolt are running different races, the events shared similarities: pageantry, thousands of attendees, and an elite competitor trying to reach the next level of his or her game.
