Description: An Orientation Video by Residents for Residents:nIn 2016, residents of Crossroads Juvenile Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY, participated in an after-school youth employment program through Creative Art Works. The then current residents were asked to create a welcome video for incoming residents. The idea was that young people arriving at a secure detention center for the first time would be more receptive to an orientation from their peers than they might be to one given by authority figures. n
