Description: Turning a 30+ year old light microscope of Nikon (TMD inverted DIC) in to a more modern microscope. I'm doing this by adding electronics such as; micro controllers, step divers and step motors to the x-y table. Creating a DIY scanning stage with the help of 3D printing and electronics. With this scanning stage I'm able to create big high resolution photographs that can go up to and beyond 1000megapixels. This movie shows some of the movements of the
