A murky start to parts of the south coast, with cloud developing over central and northern England, as well as Wales. A band of squally rain moves across Scotland through the day, with more outbreaks of rain further south, mainly across Wales. As the bands of rain die away, showers follow behind, across Scotland and parts of northern England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
