Abrams released Star Wars: The Force Awakens in IMAX 70mm, Luckily I got a chance to see it in IMAX 70mm 3D, and this one sequence, Escape Off Jakku, was filmed completely using IMAX 70mm Format Cameras, until 2 years ago, when they released it on TV Formats, they must have struck the 70mm Prints, and took this scene and cropped it down to 1.78:1 for Televisions so it will fill the screen along side the Pan & Scan Cropped film.nnNow, this opens up information on the top and bot
