I encountered the work (albeit briefly) two years later at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal as part of the 2014 Biennale de Montréal. The piece is a 4-minute 45-second video loop showing a female hand manipulating (on a tablet) anonymous Internet images of casualties of war – defined by Hirschhorn as “destroyed bodies.
