Description: Pond Skimming is an annual event at most ski mountains which marks an end to the ski season. This pond skimming event, first published on http://www.video-vermont.com, occured at Jay Peak, a rugged ski mountain in northeastern Vermont which gets lots of snow and cold arctic winds. The video was shot on April 19th with a Canon XHA-1 in HD. All shots were at 1280i 60p. I edited in FCP 6.02 and imported the clips with Apple HRes 420.
