Description: Central Cowlitz Chimney (7421') is accessed from the Wonderland Trail at Panhandle Gap. One must contour past Banshee (7400') to do the scramble. The view from the summit is sublime, with Banshee and the Sarvant Glacier in the foreground. My iteration (starting/ending at White River campground) was 22 miles and 5500' of elevation.
