Description: Technology/Transformation: Playboi Carti is a remix of Dara Birnbaum's 1978 classic Technology/Transformation: Wonder Woman and Playboi Carti's Flatbed Freestyle. This work reconsiders a seminal example of American video art as filtered through the Black body. By pairing the video with a snippet of contemporary hiphop, this remix finds itself transformed, too.
