Description: The final section was the boisterous Bumba-meu-Boi, a dramatic-comical dance about the death and resurrection of an ox. Already dancing on stage were three bare-chested young men and three girls in thongs and bikini tops. My favorite was a girl wearing a flamboyant snake helmet and feathery snakes on her arms and legs. These six dancers formed the background for feathered girls who came out, one at a time, to prance around breathlessly. They wore enormous headdresses of feathers, gaily decorated
