Description: After the death of ʻŌpūkahaʻia it seemed as if the ambition to take the gospel back to the Hawaiian people was all but lost. Little did ʻŌpūkahaʻia know that after his memoirs were published, they would go on to become the most widely circulated and read book on the East coast inspiring a new voyage to take place, to bring the gospel to Hawai’i.n⠀nIn this episode we had the privilege of traveling to the birth of ʻŌpūkahaʻia, looking out over the bay where he boarded the merchant
