Description: Bilqis Abdul-Qaadir, a Muslim athlete who played in the hijab for most of her career, was forced to choose between her faith and basketball. Sharing her story internationally, Abdul-Qaadir petitioned and eventually, the restriction was overturned in 2017. Because of her sacrifice and dedication, Muslim, Jewish and Sikh athletes across the world no longer have to choose between their faith and the sport that they love. This is the first in a series of short documentaries created by Pyer Moss.
