Description: This project was inspired by Norman McLaren's live-action, stop-motion shorts (especially his 1952 Oscar-winner, Neighbours, one of the first animations I can remember seeing as a child) as well as a 1960's TV cartoon directed by Friz Freleng where the Pink Panther fights a noble, yet losing, battle with a kung fu housefly.nnThe woman was shot in a green-screen studio and then later composited into the time-lapsed background.
