This performance is a group dance based on the sound and beat of Dhime. A traditional Newari music accompanies with the Dhuniya. A tradition using a long bamboo pole that often performs in regional celebrations like Newari New Year and Indra Jatra. The dance is a fusion of Newari dance and Indian dance call Kathak.
