'The Pen and the Sword' is a holographic installation commissioned by Cartwright Hall Gallery, Bradford Museums. The brief was to choose an object in their collection and respond to it. I was particularly taken by a brass pen case and ink well in their collection and have used it in this work. The pens inside are my own addition.n'The Pen and Sword' juxtaposes the old and the new – an antique pen case and novel 3D technology.
