Description: Pam and Ren Parziale launched Sycamore Pottery in 1971 where they bought land, planted 4,000 trees, raised two children and grew a pottery business from what Pam calls – a fantasy. Their first commission was for a Shepherdstown historical group that wanted 500 hand-thrown pots for a fundraiser.
